Tumble and jump over to Boost Trampoline Park for some high-altitude fun. The trend of trampoline parks combines the entertainment and health industries by offering experiences that are attractive across ages and social groups. Think free jumping, practicing parkour on padded walls, playing fast-paced dodgeball, basketball, plus a foam pit for kids – some highlights to get you bounced. Get there: 6179 U.S.-278 in Covington

Covington Central Park has 214 acres of mature Southern Forest framing Dried Indian Creek as it flows through the park from the downtown area. Here you’ll find Parker’s Pasture, an acclaimed 18-hole disc golf course, named for the farm that once made up the northern half of the park. The disc golf course meanders through the trees. There are elevation changes and challenging holes with a variety of shot shapes. Meet others who are walking, cycling, picnicking, playing in the creek and on the playground. Bring your dogs, too! . Get there: 3205 Emory St

Self-guided tours are another high-energy option for exploring Covington. Starting from the Visitor Center or the Square, you can stroll and roll among the Walk of Stars, see the beautifully preserved historic homes, and be entertained by year-round concerts. The visitor center has the REEL Locations Guide to self-pace your tour of the film and television sites that make Covington so recognizable onscreen – if you know what to look for! (Plus, highly rated guided tours to get the inside scoop!)

There’s a lot more to see and do. Begin your visit to Covington at the Visitor Center right off the downtown square and plan your visit: Discover Covington.
