Drop into the shops around the Square. McKibben Music will let you strum a guitar. The Soap Box offers the aromas of spring. The Covington Flower Shop displays the colors you’ve been enjoying all day. And Southern Roots Outfitters has spring ensembles ready to brighten the lovely surroundings.

Grab a snack at Bread and Butter Bakery or @Local Coffee House & Study Lounge. Choose a book from @Local’s library and while away an hour or two. You can also find a delicious cup of coffee at Lily and Sparrow. Join fellow vampire fans in The Mystic Grill or hop into Your Pie for a slice. Or maybe Town House Café will lure you in for a sandwich that will make you want to come again and again.

Take the Cricket Frog Trail for a leisurely walk. Biking along the trail makes the spring breeze flow through you. Test your disc golf skills at Central Park or bask in the serenity of Academy Springs Park. There might be an evening concert at Legion Field. Feel the gift of spring at every turn.

Don’t miss the Walk of Stars downtown. See the sidewalks filled with the names of actors and characters from the movies and TV shows filmed here. The Covington Welcome Center (1143 Oak St.) will happily share a walking map with you.
